Sonoma Charter School

Judy has been a teacher at the Charter School for 14 years. She appreciates the opportunities the Charter School offers to work with excellent colleagues to develop individualized curriculum for primary students. She is an avid reader, and loves to run and hike. She has two children who are in college (ouch!), 2 dogs, a cat, a turtle and a rabbit. Judy received her initial teaching credential at the University of Nebraska and has also attained her California teaching credential. On the hundredth day of school, we each wrote a paragraph about what we would do if we had a hundred dollars. Below are excerpts from the paragraphs the children wrote: ...I would buy a car to get to work and a tv to watch at work. -NV ...I would buy a chicken. It would be a Rhode Island Red Chicken. It would be red and big. -CS ...I would give half to my teacher and use the other half to buy a bunny. His name would be Dash. -AW ...I would buy an inside pool. Under the pool would be glass and under the glass would be a shark. --MS ...I would buy an inside pool, a Wii, and a mini-hot tub for my room. The Wii would be on a 100 yard screen. Specialists: Monday: PE Tuesday: Music / Eleanor (2nd) Wednesday: Art Thursday: PE Friday: Recorders (3rd) Order lunch for the following week by Monday. Lunch is $3.85 per lunch. Homework is assigned on Monday and should be returned on Friday in the homework folder.
